Reliable Customer Support

Measure first: compare the overall dimensions with your patio, deck, or concrete pad and leave comfortable walking space around posts.
Plan installation: confirm the surface is level and suitable for anchoring before delivery day.
Check the look: review backyard photos with your partner to make sure the roof color and wood tone fit your outdoor style.
HOA note: if your community has exterior guidelines, confirm shade structures are allowed before ordering.

FAQs

It does — the Clario is our entertainment dream! Every solarium includes a built-in TV mount and a power station with two outlets plus USB/USB-C, along with full-perimeter mesh screens and double sliding doors with translucent polycarbonate panels. It even handles a bit more snow than our other collections — 22 lbs/sq ft versus the usual 20 — and the 12x20 weighs 1,239 lbs, rated to 83 mph when anchored. Movie nights outside, anyone?

We do not offer professional installation at the moment, but our products are designed with DIY in mind — clear step-by-step instructions and all necessary hardware are included, and most customers complete setup in a few hours. If you would prefer a helping hand, local handymen or platforms like TaskRabbit and Thumbtack are great options. And of course, we are here for any questions during your build!

Good news — we offer free standard shipping on all orders within the contiguous US! There are no delivery charges at checkout, and your order ships straight to your door.

Thank you for reaching out! We are able to deliver to many Canadian addresses — simply place your order with your Canadian address, and our logistics team will verify it for you: if the address is serviceable, we will process your order as usual (delivery typically takes 7-10 business days); if delivery turns out not to be possible, we will notify you promptly by email or phone and cancel the order for you. Either way, you will always know exactly where things stand — and of course, we are happy to help with any questions along the way!

Great question! Box counts vary by model and size — the exact total is printed on each box label as Box X of Y, and once your order ships you will see one tracking number per box in your confirmation email. If you would like to know the count for a specific model before ordering, just tell us which one you are considering and we will happily check for you!

We want you to love your purchase! If you would like to return an item bought from our website, simply contact us within 30 days of receipt — we will guide you through every step (1-888-666-3070 or support@modernshade.org). Items should be in like-new condition in their original packaging; return shipping is covered by the customer, and a 15% restocking fee applies. Refunds go back to your original payment method.

We have got you covered! Our product manuals update fairly quickly, and the Clario solarium now exists in several versions — so the most reliable way is to share your order number with us, and we will send the manual that exactly matches your unit right here in chat. (The model number on the box side, starting with IG106, helps too!) If anything looks off with the manual you have, we will make sure you get the right version!

Great planning question! Most of our customers complete assembly in about 3-6 hours with 2-4 people. The Clario is our most feature-rich build — dual sliding doors, full perimeter netting and a built-in TV mount — so we recommend taking it section by section at a comfortable pace. The step-by-step manual and all hardware are included, and if any question comes up along the way, our team is right here to walk you through it.
